ERF description: The unit was at full power operation before the event with output of 984 MWe. During performance of periodic test on protection channel SIP IV on ATWT signal logic, low level signals on 3 steam generators appeared simultaneously at 22:00 and then appeared main feedwater flow rate low, which caused reactor scram by "feedwater flowrate low plus ATWT signal", the unit wasdisconnected from the grid for 6 hours.
The cause of the spurious signal created on SIP IV during the test is due to the interface problem between the test facility and the protection system. No human error during the test was observed.
