ERF description: On 12 May, a type A package containing radioactive material for radiopharmaceutical use has been lost during its transport between Saclay (France) and the consignee in Tunis (Tunisia).
This package consigned by CIS bio international (France) contains a limited quantity of Iodine-131 (a total of 5.15 GBq).

The competent authority of France has informed the comptetent authority if Tunisia.

Due to the loss of this package, the competent authority of France rated this event at level one on the INES scale.
